Background and Introduction
The [A]political pipeline, an international forum on oil pipelines and international law, in collaboration with Pan-African online university on sustainable development and African Network of Young Leaders for Peace and Sustainable Development, Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council and the Burnished Law Journal is looking for research interns and content writers for a massive online open course. The course would be on sustainability and commercial law with a special emphasis on Africa.

Issues would be related to sustainability and different facets of commercial law. We would be discussing this in detail with the selected research interns/content writers.

Students with a good writing and research experience, graduates, postgraduates, academicians, are encouraged to apply.

Rest of the instructions would be given to the selected interns/writers.

Note: There is a difference between content writers and research interns. Content writers would be involved only for the MOOC which would involve work in November and December 2020 only. This would include research, drafting for the MOOC. However, research interns would be involved in work even for January and February 2021 which would include working for the [A]political pipeline forum. Research interns would also get the opportunity to be a part of the editorial board of the international forum. Selected interns will also be given internships with the African organization. Selected interns will have the opportunity to publish their work with an UN-affiliated NGO. Please indicate your preference in the Google form available below. Apply only if you can commit during the entire duration.

Due credit in the final draft of the course would be given to anyone contributing to this MOOC.

Selection Criteria

  • An interest in Sustainability and Climate Change, Commercial Law, and International Law.
  • Previous work experience, research articles, blogs, moots on any of the aforementioned law.

Selection is on the basis of CV (maximum length of 2 A4 sheets).
